Last night I stumbled upon photos of Grace Goddington's 70th Birthday Party on Vogue.com. The Creative Director looks fabulous for her age! She celebrated her birthday at New York City's Indochine with an uber cool guest list including Anna Wintour, Annie Liebovitz, Helmut Lang, Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, Marc Jacobs, Naomi Campbell, Oscar de la Renta, Patrick Demarchelier, the Proenza Schouler boys (Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez), Stefano Pilati and Vera Wang. I wish I received an invite... it looked like so much fun! x.

HOME SWEET HOME! Ah, there's no place like it! This weekend I traveled interstate with family and as much as I adore them there were times when I just needed 'time out'. I like escaping to my room to read or listen to music (Kings of Convenience). If not, I'll wander (the streets of Surry Hills), sit at a cafe or exercise (if I'm really desperate!). The amount of 'me' time varies from fifteen minutes to a day (nights are too depressing to spend alone) - it depends on how long it takes for me to relax/gather my thoughts. Is it crazy/selfish behaviour? Do you enjoy spending time alone??? x.

I've been meaning to share with you this article on Proenza Schouler. I love how the interviews in Interview magazine are conducted like dialogue between friends. The reader learns of the relationship between interviewer and interviewee gaining an intimate and interesting insight into each of their lives.

Jack and Lazaro can do no wrong in my eyes. The Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear collection was full of bold and beautiful colours, prints and textures (Bridge you're onto something!). The boys are able to put together an entire look, from clothing to hair style to shoe. BTW have you seen their latest bag? It. Totally. Rocks. x.
