A few days ago, Aunt Elaine (yes, my groovy Aunt!) showed me, 'Here' a beautiful short film starring British model, Agyness Deyn. Featuring music by Jason Schwartzman and Woody Jackson, the project derived from the creative minds of Waris Ahluwalia, Luca Guadagnino, Sandra Kopp and Tilda Swinton for The Luxury Collection. If you have time, sit down and enjoy the romantic sights and sounds. x.

Last Monday Uncle E, Aunty T, Sophia and I caught up for brunch at La Buvette. After filling our tummies we checked out E & M Greenfield and Tessuti. I had to restrain myself from buying rolls and rolls of ribbon and fabric! x.

I wanted to know more about the event so I did some further research...
The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City houses a collection of more than thirty-five thousand costumes and accessories spanning five continents and as many centuries. Each May, the annual Gala Benefit, its primary fund-raising event, celebrates the opening of the spring exhibition. Under the leadership of Honorary Trustee Anna Wintour (Editor-in-Chief of Vogue), who has been the co-chair since 1995, the gala has become one of the most visible and successful charity events, drawing a stellar list of attendees from the fashion, film, society, business, and music industries. The brainchild of publicity doyenne Eleanor Lambert, the benefit was introduced in 1948 as a midnight supper and dubbed "The Party of the Year." Co-chairs in the past have included Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (1977-1978), Nicole Kidman (2003, 2005), and Oprah Winfrey (2010). - Vogue.comMr. McQueen must've been beaming from 'up there'! x.
