I don't know how to describe my feelings towards the Dries Van Noten Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear collection. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't his greatest... I don't want to say anything negative about the Belgian designer as I put him "up there" with the Proenza Schouler boys.

As Sarah Mower said, "Watching a Dries Van Noten Show sometimes has a slow-burn effect: It starts off seeming like nothing much, but by the end, you've bought into his world... If this season didn't reach the sustained excitement levels generated by the last collection... he used this opportunity to prove, maybe for the first time, that his evening wear can equal the appeal of his day wardrobe last fall."
