Starting a business is not easy. You have your good days and your bad - a never ending emotional roller coaster ride. I just read this article in The New York Times and it is exactly the way the mentioned business owners describe owning a business to be. Despite the long hours, poor pay and uncertainty of what lies ahead, I wouldn't trade my new life for my old job either. Happy Monday! x.

Every Monday I read the Sunday (online) edition of The New York Times. It is my favourite newspaper to read and is a connection to my favourite place in the world, New York City. I usually read the Arts, Style and Travel sections but found myself in Business this morning. The heading Off the Catwalk, the Battle for Hermes immediately caught my eye. Admittedly, I get bored and leave an article halfway but this time was different; I wanted to learn more about Bernard Arnault's role at LVMH and the future of Hermes. Mr. Arnault, I understand that at the end of the day it comes down to money but just this once, don't let it be. x.

There has been quite a bit of controversy surrounding Brazilian model, Lea T. I don't want to get into it so will keep it short and sweet: Everyone deserves to be happy. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly. x. P.S. Happy Friday!

A truly beautiful Lea T. by Stefano Moro for The New York Times.
