Yay it's Friday and the last day of New York Fashion Week, Fall Ready To Wear 2012 (eastern standard time). It was a spectacular week for womenswear, I can't wait to share my favourite looks with you (hopefully over the weekend or early next week). Tomorrow night I'm making NY inspired hot dogs for family and friends. I'm excited/slightly nervous to see how they turn out... I'll keep you guys posted :) In the mean time have a wonderful day! x.

I love Taylor Tomasi Hill. I love Lane Crawford. Put the two together (Sarah Rutson you're a genius!) and you got a whole lotta LOVIN'! There has been talk that a few items from Taylor's line for Lane Crawford bears close resemblance to the work of Marc Jacobs and Commes des Garcons. I remain neutral in this conversation... I wonder what the designers think? x.

WOW. Taylor Tomasi Hill is moving up, up, up in the fashion world! The New York Times confirmed she will be leaving her position as Style and Accessories Director at Marie Claire for Artistic Director at Moda Operandi. No doubt, there will be many changes but in what way and to what degree? Nonetheless this is all very exciting! Congratulations Taylor T! x.

P.S. Check out Taylor's most recent interview with WWD/The Coveteur
P.P.S. I can't wait to see Taylor's collaboration with Sarah Rutson for Lane Crawford (debuting January 2012)

Have you seen Taylor Tomasi Hill in the latest issue of The Block? It's strange to see Taylor in a magazine editorial. She looks different. My favourite image of her is this one - wearing Dries, of course :) Happy Friday! Are you doing anything exciting this weekend? I'm aiming to recap Spring/Summer 2012 fashion week in between completing things for the markets. Have lots of fun! x.

It's been a while since my last blog post. My poor MacBook no longer has the stamina to keep up (I'm using Uncle T's MacBook Pro) :( Having had little connection to the internet, it made me aware* of how important it is in today's society. The internet is such a powerful source of communication. It provides us with information (fact or fiction), grants us access into the unknown, and allows us to feel connected, no matter where we are in the world.

Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Week has come and gone. I will post a round-up of my favourite designer looks when I get the chance to go through them. In the meantime, I will leave you with images of the delightful (I've been watching too much 'Mad Men') Taylor Tomasi Hill during the collections. x.

I've been meaning to blog about red heads for quite some time... I think women blessed with fiery tresses (and porcelain skin) are a force to reckon with. They immediately stand out from a crowd and ooze a certain natural kind of coolness. I'm in awe but understand such beauty should be celebrated - not envied. Happy Friday! x.

More of Taylor Tomasi Hill during Fall 2011 RTW Fashion Week. I've always believed confidence is the key to looking good. This girl definitely has it! x. P.S. I love the Celine blue 'pencil case' she's been carrying throughout - it sets off her fiery locks.

FINALLY (she sighs). I've been looking everywhere for images of my fashion icon during New York (and London) Fashion Week! I love the way Taylor Tomasi Hill dresses - her sense of style is like no other. You are immediately aware of the fact that the Marie Claire Accessories Editor dresses only for herself, making her all the more captivating and inspiring to watch. For goodness sake, she can rock tulle and sneakers in one look! x. P.S. She owns a pair of the Burberry shearling booties I'm obsessed with... well, what did I expect? Of course, she does!

Taylor Tomasi Hill is my ultimate style icon. I love her hair, the way she rocks it and the clothes that she wears. She has a wonderful presence about her. x.

I love the simplicity of this outfit - it's sexy in a demure way.  The soft textures and
shades balance the bold leather heels and leopard print stole. Such a feminine look! Via.
This outfit is soooo cool - I don't know where to begin... The sheer silver top... Nope,
can't do it. It's that cool! :) Via.
This is an outfit only Taylor can pull off. Love her sunglasses and pale pink Miu Miu
clutch. Via.
Three things stand out in this outfit: (1) The Rodarte tee (2) The D.I.Y. blazer (3) The
Tommy Hilfiger heels. Via.
The fact that Taylor is wearing Proenza Schouler is enough to call this my favourite look -
the PS top offsets Taylor's fiery red tresses and gives her just the right amount of edge.
She has the most amazing accessories including her chunky gold wedding band. Love it! :)
How sweet and summery does Taylor look in this photo?  I dig the fact that she's recycling
her wedding shoes! Via.
