Welcome Benji (to Australia and to my blog)! x.

I just had one of the best weekends to date. Yesterday I spent the day representing Ervan Woo Cosmetics at The 2011 Bridal Expo then raced over to the Northern Beaches to celebrate Juz's birthday at The Pony Room. Several of us woke up with hangovers so we spent the day lying on the couch watching 'What Happens In Vegas'* and eating Thai food and leftover birthday cake**. At 2pm we peeled ourselves off the couch, got dressed and met Bridge and Benji*** for drinks at Manly Wharf Hotel. I am absolutely pooped but it was definitely worth the lack of sleep! x.

*Ashton Kutcher is such a hottie!

**Bridge baked a ginger and chocolate mud cake - it was super moist and yummy - we couldn't get enough of it!

***Welcome to Oz Benji - it was so nice to finally meet you. Hope you have an awesome time Down Under!

The girls and I continued after work drinks at Doctor Pong. We caught up with Dan, made a few friends and danced the night away (the music was brill!). I hadn't let my hair down like that in ages, it was so much fun! x.

Last Friday, I met the girls at Stanley Street Station for after-work drinks. It was a balmy evening so we plonked ourselves on a couch that looked out onto Stanley Street and caught up over a few glasses of wine and bottles of beer. During and in between conversation we watched passersby... Life is fascinating regardless of who it belongs to. x.

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while (I feel guilty for not doing so after a few days)... I have several posts lined up for you but have been busy with other things that I haven't had time to go back and tweak them before clicking 'publish post'. Anyhoo here is a post dedicated to Mum, the most extraordinary woman I know.

A few Sundays ago, Mek and I took Mum to Lumiere for her birthday. We sat by one of the large windows enjoying the sun and each other's company. The three of us rarely spend our mornings together due to conflicting schedules so it was a nice change to do so. We sipped our beverages (each of us ordered something totally different), chatted and read the newspaper while waiting for our breakfast to arrive. Mum ordered the Lumiere special (claiming it the best breakfast she's had in a while), Mek cured her hangover with a bacon and egg roll (which I ended up finishing) and I satisfied my craving for their muesli and poached pears. Such a great way to start a Sunday! x.

I saw this guy's awesome tattoo and thought, 'just do it'.
I can't live without my sunglasses and sparkling water.
