Introducing... my 1970's Olympia typewriter! I wanted a typewriter ever since I saw the Brady & Kowalski stall at Brooklyn Flea. I couldn't bring myself to spending the money until I saw this one on eBay... Ain't she grand! Mum's been teaching me how to use her (I thought it'd be a breeze since it was made in the 'olden days' when things were much simpler). After three hours of typing I managed eight pages and a broken finger nail. Joan Holloway here I come! Hehe. Happy Monday! x.

 M E L B O U R N E  C U P  2 0 1 1 

Yesterday several of us celebrated the Melbourne Cup at Palace Chinese Restaurant. We dressed up, drank champagne, ate lots of food (the fried ice-cream was soooo good!), posed for photos and cheered on the jockeys/horses. Though none of us won we still had lots of fun! x.

Don't forget the release of Florence and the Machine's second album this week! x.
