After blogging about Keira Knightley's awesome sense of style I thought I'd research her stylist and friend, Leith Clark. Clark was born and educated in Canada. She moved to London and interned for major fashion magazines like Interview, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue British before founding Lula magazine where she remains editor-in-chief. She is also editor of Crash magazine and has worked on several editorials and advertising campaigns. Clark also styles Kirsten Dunst and Alexa Chung, whom she is friends with.

One of my favourite artists, James Nares has collaborated with designer label, Coach. For more information and an awe-inspiring short clip on the artist, click here.

Happy Friday!

P.S. I haven't posted my favourite looks from Paris and Milan Spring RTW 2012 fashion week (LOVE student life!). Is it too late? If not, I'll try to post them tonight.

P.P.S. The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia re-opened its doors yesterday after undergoing an eighteen month refurbishment. YAY! I can't wait to check it out!

P.P.P.S. Mum bought me a Kindle Touch for my birthday :) At first, I was a tad dubious but it's slowly growing on me! What do you think of e-Readers?

 M A D  M A N !

I'm SUPER excited for the return of Mad Men, Season 5. Two words: Donald. Draper. PHWOAR! I love AMC's ad campaign for the TV show. It's simple and effective. It's controversial and conversational. It's almost the weekend. Woo! x.

P.S. If you've got a minute or fifteen tomorrow please pop by Kirribilli Markets and say "Hello!" We're making our debut in the northern suburbs of Sydney and like the first day of school, it's nice to see a familiar face :) The weather is supposed to be beautiful too. YAY!

I can't believe the week is almost over... Time flies when you're having fun!

Wishing you a Happy St. Patrick's Day (tomorrow)! I'm going to get into the spirit of things and throw on my green jeans... Let's see how lucky they are!

P.S. Here is a recipe for Irish Soda Bread... If you haven't tried it, DO! It's doughy goodness TIMES TEN! I first tried it in London: my Irish flat mate, Aidan brought a loaf home one evening and asked, "Jess, have you tried our soda bread before?" I responded, "Nope." He gave me this look and said, "Oh my god. You HAVE to try this!" Two hours later, the entire thing was gone... Nom, nom, nom. If you don't feel like baking it (like Aidan and me) you can purchase it via Paddy the Baker, "Sydney's only traditional Irish bakery."

These past few weeks I've felt so disconnected from the world i.e. the internet, blogs etc. that I made sure I gave myself tonight off. I've spent the past two hours on Google Reader catching up on the day to day activities of my favourite bloggers. It's mind blowing how fast you can reach someone on the other side of the world, gain access to images/information that was once impossible, get inspired within the click of a button...

I just scrolled through Garance Dore's blog (for the first time in ages) and discovered that she has started posting fashion related videos. A clever move indeed. The latest (perhaps previous?) issue of Industrie discusses the impact of digital media including video recordings on the fashion industry. More and more publications, designers, and online stores are using the format to reach out to viewers. I wonder what they'll think of next?

Hope you had a lovely weekend/have a wonderful start to the week ahead.

 S O R R Y !

I've been so quiet. I started uni a few weeks ago and I'm feeling overwhelmed. So far, I'm loving my course but I thought it'd be a smooth transition. It's been quite difficult trying to balance study, business, job and social life. I know I have to give things time to settle down/find my new rhythm... didn't someone once say, "Patience is a virtue." :)  Thank you for understanding. x.

Something I'm learning...

Somewhere I want to be... will you join me? We can slowly eat our way through each pastry and chat about weird and wonderful things :)
